Live From Kingston: Class of 2016
The first Live From Kingston since 2014, hosted the self titled "Class of 2016", a showcase of what's supposed to be the most outstanding set of 2016's upcoming Jamaican musicians, on stage in a live acoustic format.
Hosted at the picturesque venue of Skyline Levels, atop the hills overlooking Kingston, the event truly lives up to it's name. The energy in the venue was dense, filled with youthful exuberance, was proud to see so much faces from different walks of life, here to support the culture.
I don't want to bore you with too much words, if you were there, you know what happened. If you weren't I hope you can be happy to know that Jamaican music rests in very capable hands and the line up of Xana Romeo, Royal Blu, Blvk H3ro, Sevana, and Runkus, (check them out!) was perhaps one of the best and strongest lineups that Live From Kingston has ever seen. There was no weak points and all acts successfully had the crowd roaring.
I just want to share with you some of my favourite images and moments from a 'very culture' evening. See you next year!
